A Brief Introduction to Chapter 19 A seed tells a farmer’s story
Chapter 19 A seed tells a farmer’s story- This chapter differentiates the two types of farming which is traditional farming and modern farming. In traditional farming, farmers used to grow all types of crops that diverse the soil fertility and ecosystem and less use of artificial fertilisers and more use of natural fertilisers which gives a healthy crop that fits human health. On the other hand, in modern farming more use of artificial fertilisers for more growth of crops which makes more money that results in the loss of health by eating it. So, we will learn how traditional farming is better than modern farming.

The stem in picture 1 can be cut using a harvester. The harvester is a huge machine used to harvest the crops grown on large fields where cutting by hand is not possible. The chakki is used for grinding the bajra and making flour. We can use a atta kneader or dough maker for doing the work shown in picture 5 and 6.
