About Cube formula

The cube formula is used to calculate a cube's surface area, diagonals, and volume. The volume of a cube with an edge length equal to the specified number is immediately reflected by the Cube of a number. A cube is a three-dimensional solid object having six square faces and equal-length sides. Let's study the cube formula.
The Cube, commonly known as a regular hexahedron, is one of the five platonic solids.

Volume of Cube

Different formulas based on the supplied characteristics can be used to compute the volume of the Cube. It can be determined using the side length and the diagonal measurement of the Cube.
The Cube volume (based on side length) = a3 cubic inches, where 'a' the Cube's side length is.
Cube volume (based on diagonal) = (√3d3)/9 cubic inches, where d is the length of the Cube's diagonal.

Lateral Area of Cube

The sum of the areas of all the Cube's side faces is its lateral area. Because a cube has four side faces, its lateral area equals the sum of its areas.
A Cube's LSA is 4a2, where a is the side length.

Total Area of Cube

The overall surface area of the cube is given by the sum of the base area and the area of the cube's vertical surfaces. The overall surface area of the cube is given by surface area of one face multiplied by six because all of the cube's faces are made up of squares of the same dimensions. As a result, the formula for calculating a cube's surface area is:

Total Surface Area (TSA) of a Cube = 6a2

where a is the side length.

Diagonal of Cube

The shorter diagonals on the square faces of a cube lie on the square faces, whereas the longer ones pass through the centre. The major diagonal of a cube is the one that cuts through the centre, and it can be computed by multiplying one side's length by the square root of three

A cube's diagonal = a√3
