The XAT Eligibility 2025 criteria have been announced by the exam conducting authority. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), organized by XLRI on behalf of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes), will be held on January 5, 2025.

This national-level exam is designed for aspirants seeking admission to management programs. Numerous government and private institutions accept XAT scores for their management course admissions.

XAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students aspiring for admission into management courses must take the XAT 2025 exam. Before completing the XAT 2025 application, it's essential to review the eligibility criteria, as applications from those not meeting these requirements will be rejected. Here’s the XAT 2025 eligibility breakdown:

Nationality:

  • Indian nationals are eligible.
  • NRI and foreign candidates (excluding Dubai and Kathmandu) can apply with GMAT scores.

Basic Eligibility:

  • Qualifying Exam: Must have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% marks in graduation is required.
  • Appearing Candidates: Students finishing their final exams by June 10, 2025, are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for XLRI Programmes

Human Resource Management (HRM) & Business Management (BM)

  1. Qualifying Exam: A three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  2. Appearing Candidates: Eligible to apply.
  3. Indian Candidates: Must clear the XAT exam.
  4. Foreign Candidates: Must clear GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test).

General Management Programme:

  1. Qualifying Exam: Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration from India or abroad.
  2. Experience: A minimum of five years in managerial/supervisory roles by March 31, 2025.
  3. Test Requirement: Must have applied for XAT 2025 or GMAT 2025 (taken between December 1, 2021, and December 31, 2024).

XAT Selection Criteria 2025

According to the XAT 2024 selection criteria, candidates will be shortlisted based on their XAT 2025 scores, essay writing, personal interviews, and group discussions. Additionally, academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and extracurricular activities will be factored into the final admission decisions. Those meeting all criteria will be offered admission for the academic session 2025-2027.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to XLRI courses through GMAT scores

  1. NRI and foreign candidates applying for XLRI courses and affiliated B-schools must use GMAT scores, valid from December 1, 2019, to December 31, 2024.
  2. Besides submitting GMAT scores, applicants must also register for XAT 2025 as part of the admission process.
  3. Indian candidates with GMAT scores can only apply for the General Management program, while NRI and foreign candidates are eligible for General Management, Business Management, and Human Resource Management programs at XLRI.

XAT 2025 Application Form

The XAT 2025 application form was released on July 15, 2024. Applicants must complete the form online as no offline submission is available. Ensure all details, including educational, personal, and contact information, are accurately entered. Upload a scanned passport-size photo and signature as required.

The correction facility for the application may be available. The deadline for submitting the application is December 2024. After filling out the form, print a copy for future reference. Application fees should be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
