XAT Cut off 2025 - Determining Factors
The XAT 2025 cutoff varies for male and female candidates, and there are also differences between the cutoff for Engineering and non-engineering backgrounds, as determined by XLRI.
XLRI, the Xavier School of Management, takes several factors into account when setting the XAT 2025 cutoff. These factors include:
- Difficulty Level: If the exam is more challenging, the cutoff may be lower. The complexity of the questions plays a crucial role in determining the cutoff.
- Number of Applicants: A higher number of applicants generally results in a higher cutoff due to increased competition, whereas fewer applicants may lead to a lower cutoff. The availability of seats also influences the sectional cutoff.
- Number of Seats: The number of seats available for MBA and PGDM programs affects the cutoff. Fewer seats typically mean higher demand and a higher cutoff, while more seats can lead to a lower cutoff.
- Reservation Policy: The reservation policy impacts the cutoff by allocating seats to various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PWD. A higher reservation percentage can lead to a lower cutoff for reserved categories, while a lower reservation percentage may result in a higher cutoff.
