XAT Counselling Process 2025: Dates, Selection Process, Seat Allotment, Documents Required
The XLRI counselling process for XAT 2025 Exam will include Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) and a Personal Interview (PI), scheduled for February in Delhi, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, and Bangalore. Although AEW was previously part of the XAT exam, it has now been moved to the counselling process for 2025.
XLRI Jamshedpur will shortlist candidates for the MBA-HRM and MBA-BM programs based on XAT scores, academic records, and performance in AEW/PI. The admission process will start after the XAT 2025 results are announced. The XAT exam is set for January 5, 2025, with results expected in the third week of January. XAT Selection Process Dates 2025
XLRI Jamshedpur will administer the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) in January 2025. The results for XAT 2025 will be available a few weeks after the exam.

XAT 2025 Selection Procedure By XLRI
Candidates who meet the XAT Cut Off 2025 will proceed to the next phase of the Selection Process, which is expected to start in February-March 2025. The selection procedure will be managed by participating institutes following the release of the XAT results. Those who qualify the cutoff will be invited for the XAT Selection Process, conducted by XLRI in a three-step format:
Stage 1: Registration for XAT Selection Process
- Register on the official XLRI website for the XAT Selection Process.
- Candidates must apply separately for other institutes like IMT and XIMB.
- Foreign applicants should apply via GATE for XLRI admission.
- Complete the registration and pay the fee for selected courses using online payment methods (VISA/Mastercard, Net Banking).
Stage 2: Programme Selection for XAT
- During XAT application, candidates can select their desired program at XLRI by paying INR 300 per program.
- XLRI Jamshedpur uses a standardized selection process, considering the XAT score, Essay Writing, General Knowledge performance, GDPI rounds, academic records, and work experience. The weightage for each component will be specified in the selection criteria.

Stage 3: Final Seat Allotment
