WBJEE 2024 Counselling Process

For WBJEE 2024, applicants need to register for counseling and complete the choice-filling process. Once choice-filling ends, the exam authority will announce the WBJEE seat allotment results for each round separately. The WBJEE 2024 counseling process includes registration, choice-filling, and payment of counseling fees.

There will be three rounds of WBJEE 2024 counseling. Candidates who passed the JEE Main can also join the WBJEE 2024 counseling. Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's merit in the West Bengal JEE, chosen preferences, and seat availability.

Step-by-Step Guide to WBJEE 2024 Counselling

Step 1: Registration

1. Go to the WBJEE official website at wbjeeb.nic.in to register for the 2024 counselling.
2. Ensure all details are correct as they cannot be changed after submission.
3. Remember, there is only one registration period for all rounds of allotment. No registration will be allowed after the last date.
4. Follow these steps to register:
   • Visit the WBJEE Counselling 2024 official website.
   • Click on the registration link.
   • Select “New Candidate Registration”. You can register through WBJEE or JEE Main or both.
   • If registering through WBJEE 2024, provide your application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
   • If registering through JEE Main 2024, provide your application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
   • If using both exams, enter the details of both.
   • Click on Submit.

Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee

• After registering, pay the counselling fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Note that the counselling fee is non-refundable.

Step 3: Filling and Locking Choices

• After registration, fill in your choice of colleges and courses online for WBJEE seat allotment 2024.
• Select your choices in order of preference.
• Edit and lock your choices before the final date. If you do not lock your choices, the system will automatically lock the last saved choices.
• Print out the filled choices for future reference.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

• Seats are allotted based on merit, selected preferences, and seat availability.
• There will be three rounds of seat allotment conducted online.
• Check your WBJEE 2024 allotment status by logging in with your credentials. No individual allotment letters will be sent.
• To download the online seat allotment letter, pay the seat acceptance fee online or offline (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).

Step 5: Document Verification

• Report to your designated reporting centre for document verification and pay the required fee.
• Bring the following documents:
  • WBJEE result 2024 or rank card.
  • WBJEE 2024 provisional allotment letter.
  • Confirmation page of WBJEE 2024.
  • Admit card or certificate of the 10th standard (or equivalent) for name and age verification.
  • 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet for English subject mark verification.
  • Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).
  • Physically challenged certificate (for PwD category candidates).
  • Income certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable).
  • JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable).
  • ‘Yes Upgradation’ or ‘No Upgradation’ option form.
