The SSC CHSL 2025 exam offers positions like Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator. These roles usually come under Pay Level 2, with salaries ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200, or as per the 7th Pay Commission, between ₹25,500 and ₹81,100

SSC CHSL 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The SSC has announced the SSC CHSL eligibility criteria for 2025 in their official notice. It is crucial for applicants to review these criteria before applying for the exam. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria at any stage will result in disqualification. The main eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL 2025 are:

  • Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan. People of Indian origin who have moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or certain East African countries with the aim of settling in India are also eligible.

  • Education: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized school. For the Data Entry Operator (DEO) positions in specific departments like C&AG, a 12th grade education with Mathematics is needed.

  • Age: Candidates should be between 18 and 27 years old. However, there are age relaxations for certain groups.

SSC CHSL 2025 Application Process

To register for the SSC CHSL exam in 2025, start by filling out the online application form on the official website, ssc.gov.in. Make sure to upload the correct images and documents to complete your application successfully.

For the SSC CHSL application, male candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 100. Female candidates, as well as SC/ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen, can apply for free.

After the application deadline, there will be a 2-day period where you can make changes to your application if needed. During this correction window, you may have to pay a fee ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 200.
