The result or rank list will be available a few days after the exam. The NIMCET Rank List for 2025 will be published in the fourth week of June 2025. You can check it online by logging in with your details.

Qualifying Criteria for Allotment of Rank

Candidates will be disqualified if they score zero or negative marks in Mathematics or overall in the exam. Ranks will be given based on the marks a qualified candidate gets. The ranking will follow these rules:

  1. Scoring System: Marks in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English will be multiplied by 3, 1.5, 2, and 1, respectively. The highest possible weighted marks will be 1000.
  2. Ranking: Candidates will be ranked based on their total weighted marks.
  3. Tie-Breaking:
    • First, the tie will be broken by comparing the weighted marks in Mathematics.
    • If still tied, the comparison will be based on weighted marks in Logical Reasoning.
    • If necessary, the tie will be decided based on weighted marks in Computer Awareness.
    • If a tie remains, the older candidate will be favored.

NIMCET Exam 2025 Qualifying Criteria

Candidates will be considered qualified if they achieve the minimum marks required by the exam authority. Those who qualify can participate in counseling and seat allocation. Here's how the ranking will work:

  • Marks in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English will be multiplied by factors of 3, 1½, 2, and 1, respectively.
  • The highest possible total weighted marks will be 1000.
  • Rankings will be determined by the total weighted marks.
  • If there's a tie, the following criteria will be used to resolve it:
    1. First, check the weighted marks in Mathematics.
    2. If still tied, check the weighted marks in Logical Reasoning.
    3. If needed, check the weighted marks in Computer Awareness.
  • If the tie cannot be resolved by these factors, the candidate with the higher age will be favored.

NIMCET 2025 Answer Key

The answer key shows the correct answers for the exam questions. Coaching centers will release their answer keys the day after the exam. A provisional answer key will be available in the second week of June 2025.

Candidates can raise objections to the answer key in the second week of June 2025. Students can check the NIMCET 2025 answer key online. The final answer key will be released in the third week of June 2025.
