NIMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria - Education Qualification
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT degree from a recognized university with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. Alternatively, candidates with a B.E / B.Tech degree from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2025.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying examination can apply for this exam. Such candidates must submit their qualifying degree at the time of counseling. All candidates need to provide these documents during the verification process.
- Open Candidates: Candidates who have passed a B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons) / BCA / BIT course from open universities are eligible to apply. These programs must be approved by UGC / AICTE and the Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Government of India.

NIMCET 2025 Qualifying Marks Criteria
- Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in the qualifying exam.
- For SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Conversion of scores from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted.
- The percentage of marks/CGPA in the qualifying exam will be calculated based on marks or grade points secured in all subjects studied across all years, including languages, optional, and additional subjects, if any.
