CAT Admission - Eligibility Verification Procedure

If a candidate is shortlisted for interviews by any IIM, they must undergo eligibility verification:

  1. Mark Sheets and Degree Certificate: Candidates must present all mark sheets and attested copies at the time of the interview to prove their eligibility. If selected for a program, original degree certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years, along with attested copies, must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.
  2. Reservation Category: Reserved category candidates must show the original caste/class/disability certificate along with a photocopy during the interview. If selected, the original qualifying degree certificate and an attested copy must also be submitted for verification when attending the program.
  3. Final Year Graduates: Final-year bachelor's degree students must provide an original certificate from the Principal/Registrar/Director of their university/institution, certifying that they have obtained 50% marks or equivalent (45% for reserved categories). An attested copy of this certificate must be submitted at the time of the interview.
  4. For Post Graduate Programs: Selected candidates can join the program provisionally by submitting a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their university/institution. Final admission is granted only when the original mark sheet and qualifying degree certificate of the bachelor's degree are submitted.
