CAT 2025 Admission
Every IIM conducts its selection process independently for further stages. The admission process typically includes a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI).
The CAT 2024 written examination is essential for admission. IIMs also consider factors such as candidates' work experience, previous academic performance, and other criteria when shortlisting and ranking candidates. Candidates' performance is evaluated at various stages of the admission process. The processes, CAT 2025 cut-offs, and weights assigned to evaluation parameters can vary across different IIMs.

CAT Admission - Eligibility Verification Procedure
If a candidate is shortlisted for interviews by any IIM, they must undergo eligibility verification:
- Mark Sheets and Degree Certificate: Candidates must present all mark sheets and attested copies at the time of the interview to prove their eligibility. If selected for a program, original degree certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years, along with attested copies, must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.
- Reservation Category: Reserved category candidates must show the original caste/class/disability certificate along with a photocopy during the interview. If selected, the original qualifying degree certificate and an attested copy must also be submitted for verification when attending the program.
- Final Year Graduates: Final-year bachelor's degree students must provide an original certificate from the Principal/Registrar/Director of their university/institution, certifying that they have obtained 50% marks or equivalent (45% for reserved categories). An attested copy of this certificate must be submitted at the time of the interview.
- For Post Graduate Programs: Selected candidates can join the program provisionally by submitting a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their university/institution. Final admission is granted only when the original mark sheet and qualifying degree certificate of the bachelor's degree are submitted.
