The AILET 2025 exam is expected to take place in the first week of December 2024, organized by National Law University, Delhi (NLUD). The university is likely to release the AILET 2025 notification in May 2024. Applications for the AILET 2025 are probably going to start in the first week of August 2024.

AILET, or All India Law Entrance Test, is a nationwide test conducted by NLUD for students wanting to join their undergraduate and graduate law programs. It is one of the top law entrance exams in India. Successful candidates can get admission to NLU Delhi’s B.A.LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. programs. For the AILET 2024, there were 123 seats available for the B.A.LL.B. course, with 13 extra seats for special categories. This included 2 seats for Jammu & Kashmir residents, 1 for Kashmiri migrants, 5 for foreign nationals, and 5 for OCI/PIO. For the LL.M. course, there were 70 seats available.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who want to take the AILET 2025 exam need to meet certain eligibility requirements. These requirements usually include specific educational qualifications, age limits, and nationality rules set by NLU Delhi and the Bar Council of India (BCI).

AILET Admission Process 2025

Step 1: Register Online

  • Go to the official NLU Delhi website: https://nludelhi.ac.in.
  • Fill out the application form with your details.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Pay the exam fee.
  • Submit the form online only.

Step 2: Get Your Admit Card

  • NLU Delhi will send you an admit card if you register successfully.
  • Bring the admit card with you on the exam day.
  • Without the admit card, you cannot take the exam.

Step 3: Take the AILET Exam

  • Go to the test centre listed on your admit card.
  • Arrive at least one hour before the exam starts.
  • The AILET 2025 exam is on December 8, 2024.

Step 4: Check Your Results

  • NLU Delhi will announce the results about a month after the exam.
  • Your scorecard will show your All India Rank (AIR), sectional scores, and total score.

Step 5: Attend Counselling

  • After results, NLU Delhi will hold a counselling session based on your rank.
  • Seats in law courses will be given according to your rank and merit.
