Introduction to Chapter 3 Our Changing Earth
The different landforms that we come across globally are a result of the Tectonic activity inside the Earth’s surface. The lithosphere is broken down into several parts with each part being known as Crustal Plate or Plate Tectonics. The continuous movement of these plates results in different constructive and destructive natural phenomena. The movement of the earth plates is talked about at the beginning of the chapter. Later on, the chapter talks about the earthquakes and volcanoes and major landforms of the earth which are formed due to erosional and depositional activities on the earth such as dunes and work of the rivers which creates many things such as meanders and beaches were also discussed at the end of the chapter.
