BITSAT 2025 - Tie-Breaker Rules

Admissions into various programs offered by the BITS campuses are solely based on merit, determined by the candidates' scores in the BITSAT 2025 exam. Candidates must also ensure they meet all the BITSAT 2025 eligibility criteria, including the required minimum marks in their Class XII Board examination or an equivalent qualifying exam.

In the event of a tie, where two or more candidates achieve the same BITSAT score, the tie-breaker will follow these rules:

1. The candidates' scores in the Mathematics/Biology (for BPharm) section of BITSAT will be considered to create the merit list.
2. If the tie persists, the scores in the Physics section of BITSAT will be evaluated.
3. If the tie still remains, the scores in the Chemistry section of BITSAT will be taken into account.
4. Finally, if the tie continues, the total marks obtained by the candidates in their Class 12 examinations in PCM/PCB (for BPharm) will be considered to determine the final ranking.
