Brief introduction of Chapter 4 Motion in a Plane
Here we enter into one of the most important parts of our Physics Course which is called Mechanics. Mechanics is divided into two parts Statics and Dynamics. Kinematics is one of the branches of Dynamics in which we study the motion of an object without knowing the cause of the motion. In this chapter, we will use mathematical equations and formulas to solve numerical problems relating to velocity, speed, and acceleration. Almost all concepts of this chapter will be useful in upcoming chapters. Here we divide this chapter into sub-topics like straight line motion, Motion in a plane, projectile motion, relative motion etc
Circular Motion-Here we start our journey of angular quantities like angular displacement, velocity and angular acceleration. Centripetal force and tangential force will help us to differentiate between uniform and non-uniform circular motion. Bending of cyclist cyclists, and banking of roads are frequently asked topics in this chapter. Motion in the horizontal and vertical circles will be covered and later on will be clubbed with other topics.
