About Fahrenheit Equation

The Fahrenheit formula is used to convert any temperature to Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit is a temperature scale that is based on 32° and 212° for the freezing and boiling points of water, respectively, and divides the difference into 180 equal parts. The Fahrenheit formula can also be used to convert a temperature in Fahrenheit to another unit of measurement. Let's look at the Fahrenheit formula.

What Is Fahrenheit Formula?

To convert temperature values from Fahrenheit to other temperature units, use the Fahrenheit formula. However, when the temperature is given in Celsius, the formula for Fahrenheit is defined differently from when the temperature is shown in Kelvin. Therefore, the relationship between the different scales is not linear with the Fahrenheit scale. The formula can be expressed as,
Fahrenheit to celsius: C = (F − 32) × 59C = (F − 32) × 59

Fahrenheit to Celsius can be converted by using the steps given below,
Step 1:Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature.
Step 2:Multiply the number by five.
Step 3:Divide the number by nine.

Fahrenheit to Kelvin formula: K = (F−32) × 59 + 273K = (F − 32) × 59 + 273

Fahrenheit to Kelvin can be converted by using the steps given below,
Step 1: Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature.
Step 2: Multiply the number by 5
Step 3: Divide the number by nine.
Step 4: Add 273 to that number.
