NEET 2024 UP merit list - Tie-Breaking

If two or more candidates score the same marks in the NEET 2024 result, the following inter-se merit criteria will be applied to break the tie:

  1. Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be ranked higher in the merit list.
  2. If the tie persists, candidates with better marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
  3. If the tie still exists, candidates with fewer incorrect answers across all subjects will be prioritized.
  4. Finally, if the tie continues, the candidate who is elder in age will be considered first in the UP NEET rank list 2024.
