In other words, staffing refers to the component of the management process concerned with finding, utilizing, and retaining a satisfied and productive workforce.

(b) Staffing function has a total of 10 steps, out of which the second step, Recruitment, is being discussed here. Recruitment is the process of finding/ locating skilled employees with potential and encouraging them to apply for positions inside the company.
