Why concave mirror is called as a converging mirror and convex mirror is called as a diverging Mirror?

Concave mirrors are called converging mirrors because they reflect and converge the parallel incoming rays and refocus them towards focus.
Convex mirrors are called diverging mirrors because they reflect the incoming parallel rays outwards as if they are coming from focus.
