Who Gave the Slogan Do Or Die?

Mahatma Gandhi gave the slogan Do or Die during India’s Quit India Movement against British rule in 1942. He announced this slogan on August 8, 1942, at Mumbai’s Gowalia Tank Maidan to inspire urgent and determined action for India’s freedom. The slogan meant that Indians should fight for independence with all their might, and not stop until they succeeded. This call led to widespread protests across India, resulting in the British arresting many leaders, including Gandhi. The movement significantly influenced India’s struggle for independence, which was achieved in 1947.
