The Ganges River is India’s longest and biggest river, stretching 1465 kilometers. It flows through the states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal in India. Eventually, it flows into Bangladesh and merges into the Bay of Bengal. The Ganges has several important rivers that join it, including the Yamuna, Son, Gomti, Ghaghara, Gandak, and Koshi.
