Which is the Largest River Basin in India?


The biggest river area in India is the Ganga basin. The Narmada river is the fifth biggest river and it flows towards the west. This river area is really long, more than 2500 kilometers. The Ganges River starts in the Himalaya Mountains at a place called Gomukh, which is the end of the Gongotri Glacier. There are over 400 million people living in the area around this river basin.
