What is the magnetic effect of electric current?

A magnetic field is created by electric currents and certain materials. It’s like an invisible force that has both a direction and strength, and we show it using arrows. When electricity flows through a wire, it makes a magnetic field around it. Materials like iron, steel, nickel, and cobalt can do this too.

This magnetic effect is really important in our world. Without it, we couldn’t have things like motors. When there’s electricity in a wire, it makes circles of magnetism around it. Imagine it like drawing lots of round lines around a straight wire carrying electricity.
