Evergreen forest
In these forests trees maintain their leaves throughout the whole year regardless of the season, they will be found with leaves or needles. Lots of tropical forests are considered evergreen. Generally, evergreen forests are in warmer temperatures.
Deciduous Forest
In these forests, there are trees that grow fresh leaves every spring season as they lose their leaves every fall. During this time, the leaves get fine bright colors such as red, orange, and yellow before the shedding. The leaves of these trees are broad. The structure and pattern of leaves increase the quality of photosynthesis. Shedding leaves during winter helps the trees reserve water. Plants such as oaks and maple are often found in deciduous forests. There are two kinds of deciduous forests according to the shedding of leaves: Tropical deciduous forests and temperature deciduous forests. The trees in the former ones are sensitive to seasonal temperatures while the later ones are sensitive to seasonal rainfall patterns.
