What are the major components of seminal plasma?

Seminal plasma consists of secretions from the bulbourethral glands, the seminal vesicles and the prostate.
The seminal plasma is alkaline in nature, contains mucus and enzymes. Seminal plasma contains enzymes, fructose, lipids, buffering agents, citric and acid.
The prostate gland contributes citrate that is needed for the sperm mitochondria. Calcium and proteolytic enzymes are also present.
Semen is formed by a mix of sperm and seminal plasma.
