Plants in mountain habitat have various adaptations that are necessary for survival.
- Cone shape – Trees in the hilly areas are cone-shaped to allow the sliding of water and snow during the rains and
- Needle-like leaves – Leaves are modified to look like needles to prevent loss of water and water retention.
