Cell cycle is the series of events that occur in a cell and leads to division of cells.
There are two chief events of cell cycle – Interphase and metaphase.
During M-phase, first nuclear division occurs which is followed by division of cytoplasm.
The cell gets reorganised during M-phase and two daughter cells are produced.
