V.O Chidambaranar Port, formerly known as Tuticorin Port, is one of the 12 major ports in India. It was declared a major port on 11 July 1974. It is located in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Iodine is used to test the presence of starch in the solution.
The change in the colour with iodine and starch forms a complex indicates presence of starch.
