Is Hindi National Language of India?


India doesn’t have a single national language according to its constitution. Instead, Hindi and English are both recognized as official languages in India. According to Article 343 of the Indian constitution, Hindi in the Devanagari script is the official language. When India gained independence, the constitution initially included 14 different languages.
