Vitamins are classified into two groups on the basis of their solubility:
Fat -soluble vitamins
Water -soluble vitamins
a)Fat -soluble vitamins:The fat-soluble vitamins can accumulate in our body since they are not water soluble. Eg : vitamin A and vitamin D.
b) Water -soluble vitamins : Vitamins which are soluble in water Eg.Thiamine, vitamin B,
vitamin C
Vitamin K is responsible for the coagulation of blood.
