What is Filtration?

Filtration is a method employed to separate insoluble solids from a liquid by allowing the liquid to flow through a filter.

A filter is a membrane with pores, which won’t allow the insoluble solid particles to pass through

  1. Thus the liquid we obtain below is free from these insoluble solid particles.
