A number raised to the power 1, is the same number. For example, 31 = 3

0 as exponent

Any non-zero number raised to 0 will always equal 1. For example, 30 = 1.

1 as base

1 raised to any number will equal 1. For example, 13 = 1 × 1 × 1 = 1.

0 as Base

0 raised to any positive number equals 0. For example, 03 = 0 × 0 × 0 = 0.
