In asexual reproduction, formation and fusion of gametes does not take place.
Two means of asexual reproduction are as follows :-

Budding :- It is the mode of asexual reproduction in which a bulb or bud like outgrowth develops on the parent body. Later on, this bud develops and detaches from the parent body and grows into a new individual.
