Write two major functions each of testis and ovary.

Testis:

Testis is the primary male reproductive organ and it produces male gamete sperm.

Testis also acts as an endocrine gland and produces male hormone androgen.

Ovary:

Ovaries are the primary reproductive organ in females and produce female gamete ovum.

Ovaries also act as endocrine glands and produce hormone estrogen and progesterone.

Besides producing gametes, Ovaries and testes as endocrine glands and releases hormones.
