Why was the Congress session held at Lahore in 1929 significant to the National Movement?

The Lahore session is considered historic because, under the utmost guidance of Congress president Jawaharlal Nehru, a resolution for ‘Poorna Swaraj’ was passed during this session. It was in this session only, that the Indian National Flag was hoisted and the pledge for independence was taken by all the leaders of the Congress.
