Why is resource conservation necessary?

Resources are very limited in our environment and with time and technology human needs are continuously increasing. This increasing demand is leading to depletion of resources for the future generations. Also it can act as an obstacle for our economic development. Thus it is very necessary to conserve the resources for present economic development and to meet the needs of the future generation.
