Question
A: Oxygen cycle- The oxygen cycle is the movement of oxygen through the atmosphere (air), biosphere (plants and animals), and lithosphere (earth's crust). The oxygen cycle demonstrates how free oxygen is made available and used in each of these regions.
B: Nitrogen cycle- The Nitrogen Cycle is a biogeochemical process in which nitrogen is converted into various forms before passing from the atmosphere to the soil to the organism and back into the atmosphere. Nitrogen fixation, nitrification, denitrification, decay, and putrefaction are some of the processes involved. Nitrogen gas can be found in both organic and inorganic forms. Organic nitrogen is found in living organisms and is passed up the food chain through the consumption of other living organisms. Nitrogen inorganic forms are abundant in the atmosphere. Symbiotic bacteria that can convert inert nitrogen into usable forms – such as nitrites and nitrates – make this nitrogen available to plants.
C: Hydrogen cycle- The hydrogen cycle is made up of hydrogen exchanges between biotic and abiotic hydrogen-containing compound sources and sinks. The most abundant element in the universe is hydrogen. Water, hydrogen gas, hydrogen sulphide, and ammonia are examples of common H-containing inorganic molecules on Earth.
D: Phosphorus cycle- The Earth has four layers: the lithosphere (land), the hydrosphere (water), the biosphere (living), and the atmosphere (air). The Earth's lithosphere is the hard and rigid outer layer of the Earth. It is a phosphorus reservoir. Sediments or sedimentary rocks are the largest phosphorus reservoirs. As a result, the phosphorous cycle is a sedimentary type of nutrient cycle, or simply a sedimentary cycle.
E: Carbon cycle- The carbon cycle is the biogeochemical cycle that exchanges carbon between the Earth's biosphere, pedosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. Carbon is the most abundant element in biological compounds, as well as in many minerals such as limestone.
