When and where does reduction division take place in the life cycle of a moss

1). In mosses the reduction division takes place at the time of spore formation in capsule (the sporophyte)

2). In ferns the reduction division takes place in spore mother cells present in sporangia. Sporangia are found attached to the sporophylls (leaves).

3). In gymnosperm reduction division takes place at the time of production of pollengrains & ovule in micro and megasporangia of male & female cones respectively.
