Ottawa is the Capital of Canada, located in the Southeastern part of the country. Ottawa is also the largest city in Canada, with two official languages (English and French). It was founded in 1826 by Byton and incorporated as Ottawa in 1855. Ottawa is located on the south bank of the Ottawa River and contains the mouths of the Rideau River and Rideau Canal. Ottawa also sits at the confluence of three major rivers: the Ottawa River, the Gatineau River and the Rideau River.

The Federal government is the city's largest employer, employing over 110,000 individuals from the National Capital Region. Ottawa is famous for its international music festivals, record-breaking ice skating rink, beautiful nature, bilingual character, politeness, internationally influenced cuisine, and hunger for beaver tails. Justin Pierre James Trudeau PC MP is a Canadian politician who has been Canada's 23rd and current prime minister since 2015 and the leader of the Liberal Party since 2013.
