- A normal electrocardiogram has the following waves:
(i) P wave- a small upward wave, that indicates the depolarisation of the atria.
(ii) The QRS complex represents the depolarisation of the ventricles which initiates
the ventricular contraction and repolarisation of atrial simultaneously.
(iii) T wave indicates the repolarisation of ventricles.
