(a) Halophiles - live in extreme salty area
(b) Thermo-acidophiles - live in hot springs.
(c) Methanogens - live in marshy places and guts of ruminant animals such as cows and produce the gas methane.
Archaebacteria have a different cell wall structure from other bacteria.
