What are the limitations of J. J. Thomson's model of the atom?

J.J Thomson's model was not able to explain the result of the Alpha particle scattering experiment carried out by Rutherford.

 It was not able to explain the stability of atoms. how the positively charged proton and negatively charged electrons are stable inside the atom.

It does not give any information regarding the nucleus or neutrons

This model  was not able to explain the result of Alpha particle scattering experiment.
