What are exogenic and endogenic forces?

The forces that change the earth’s surface are known as geomorphic forces and this is of two types i.e. exogenic and endogenic forces.

Exogenic forces: External forces and events that occur on or above the earth's surface are referred to as exogenic forces. Examples are: wind, river,etc.

Endogenic forces: Endogenic forces are those that act inside the earth. Examples are: earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
