How would you show that the setting of curd is a chemical change?

In a chemical change there occurs a chemical reaction and there is release of energy or the energy is provided for the reaction. Moreover chemical reactions are irreversible reactions.

During the setting of curd from milk we cannot re-obtain milk. So, it is a type of chemical change.

Hence, setting of curd being a irreversible change it is called the chemical change
