How does the excretion takes place in cockroach?

In cockroaches, the excretion is through the malpighian tubules. Each tubule is lined by glandular and ciliated cells. They absorb nitrogenous waste products and convert them in uric acid, which is excreted through the hindgut. There fore, cockroaches are Uricotelic.

Fatbody, Nephrocytes and Urecose glands also help in excretion.
