Question

 As we know,

 Speed = Distance travelled/Time taken (i)

Given, Speed = 3×108 ms-1

Distance travelled =?

Time taken = 5 minutes

 = 5×60

 = 300 seconds

Now we put the values in equation (i), we get

3 × 108 = Distance travelled/300

Distance travelled = 3×108 × 300

 = 9 × 1010 m

Therefore, the distance of spaceship from the ground station is 9 × 1010 metres.
