ASA Formula

About ASA Formula

Let us first define congruence before understanding the ASA formula. When two triangles are congruent, three sides of one are equal to three sides of the other, and three angles of one triangle are equal to three angles of the other. To see if two triangles are congruent, we don't need to know all of their angles and sides. The ASA formula will suffice.

What Is the ASA Formula?

One of the factors used to determine congruence is the ASA formula. "If two angles of one triangle and the side contained between these two angles are respectively identical to two angles of another triangle and the side contained between them, then the two triangles will be congruent," according to the ASA congruence criterion.

ASA Rule: two triangles are said to be congruent by ASA rule if any two angles and the side included between the angles of one triangel are equivalent to the corresponding two angles and side included between the angles of the second triangle
