Full form of SSB

The full form of SSB is "Service Selection Board". There are three areas of military service. Namely, these are the Indian Air Force, the Indian Territorial Army and the Indian Navy. And this Service Selection Board is a five day consecutive selection process which is conducted by the recruiting officers in Indian Armed Forces. This process happens after the candidate clears the entrance exam with required marks like CDS, AFCAT etc.

The Service Selection Board is an organization that tests the candidate for enlistment in the Indian Armed Forces. Every individual has to go through it. The committee tests the applicant's mental and physical fitness using a standard protocol. The protocol consists of evaluating the candidate's personality, psychology, physical fitness and intelligence to become an officer. The board panel consists primarily of a psychologist, an interview supervisor, and a group assignment worker. About the organization

The Service Selection Commission is the central association that assesses applicants to become officers of the Indian Armed Forces. The board examines whether it is reasonable to turn into an official using the standard convention of an evaluation framework that includes character tests, insight tests and meetings. Tests are of two types: Composed and Useful Assignment based.

The SSB Board consists of assessors who are officers in the Indian Armed Forces and have their specialization as Psychologist, Group Tasking Officer (GTO) and Interviewing Officer. There are a total of thirteen service selection boards in India, of which four are for the Indian Army, four are for the Indian Air Force and five are for the Indian Navy. SSB is an evaluation process of 5 to 6 days.

Recruitment process

There are many ways to become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. This applies to both Indian citizens (post 10+2, graduation and post graduation) as well as military manpower service. There is no limit to the number of attempts that can be made. The determination takes place during a five-day process. Day 1 includes screening test, day 2 includes mental tests, day 3 and 4 are for majors and day 5 is for organizing the results at the conference. SSB- Eligibility Criteria

To secure the post of an officer in the Indian armed forces, there are several ways to secure the post. Any citizen of India can apply for SSB if they have completed higher secondary, graduation or post graduation.
