Full form of NAAC

The full form of NAAC is National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is an autonomous body that assesses and accredits higher education in India. The UGC (University Grants Commission) was established in India based on the recommendations of the National Education Policy which emphasized the standard of higher education in India. NAAC was established in September 1994 and is headquartered in Bangalore.
